Summer Update 2

Hey all,

So today I found out that I should be shipping to AZ in 2-3 wks. I e mailed the volunteer coordinator @ WGM to ask what would happen if I got all my $ in today. I was informed that because of the closeness of time to the "dead line", the trip is postponed until later. Another reason for it not working is there wouldn't be enough time to get tickets purchased.

I am ok w\ this as it means I can still be apart of somethings going on here that I would've missed other wise. I also see this "delay" as more time to work on being dilligent w\ the time God has given me before the trip. Maybe something is or will be happening between here & AZ that God doesn't want me involved in...He could be protecting me or just showing me more things here.

At any rate, I'm still in OH until next month...so those of you who see me regularly are still stuck w\ me for a little while yet! Ha ha! (If you must weep, please do it privately) =]

Thanks for your continued prayers...I still need them.

Summer Update

Hi,

So this blog continues to be sorta fickle & takes me down interesting turns that are frusterating....sounds like something else in my life that is all too familiar....any guesses? Yep, you got it...FEELINGS! These lil buggers can be the sweetest things in the world. Then they can be the most deceiving & lead me in wrong way if I let them & don't choose to take over.
I've been stuggling in that area a lot lately. Yeilding to MY feelings instead of choosing to do right even if it's hard. I know it's still my choice to follow feelings or facts, but I'd apprecite your prayers for me in this battle.

As you know, the dates for my mission trip where changed to June 18-July 24 in order to allow more time for support to come in. And no, I am in NO WAY asking for more support; this is simply an update to inform you of what's going on.
There is a possility of my time being extended again until my funds are in; which means I would still go, but my weeks would either be shortened or just moved all together. Those details are yet to be worked out as I still have until the 18th to see if the support will be there.

So...that's the size of it. Thanks for praying & please keep it up.

Well, for the present time my 'old faithful' blog is up & running again!!! It was having issues earlier & I was unable to get on to post anything.

(these pics are in opposite order than what I say below so just follow the captions & think in reverse when reading here & you'll do great. *wink*)

There are a lot of pics I want to put on here before I leave for Arizona in roughly 2 wks so we'll see what I can schedule & accomplish w\o getting my time all outta wack!!

Just briefly I'll say that we went to Cherry Point, NC in March to visit my Marine brother & meet his girlfriend, Abbey. Had a GREAT time!!

I was also able to go to MMR (Miracle Mountain Ranch) in Spring Creek, PA for out Spring Tour @ the end of April.(the horse w\ me is Tucker formally known as Pete...he was donated to MMR by my Grandpa & I was able to ride him while @ MMR!)

Then about 2 wks ago I went to Marion, IN for WGM VIA O! (World Gospel Mission Volunteer in Action Orientation) in connection w\ the mission trip I'll be taking starting June 18-July 22.

Last but not least, Deanna was able to be up last wk during Memorial Day...great fam time!
